Marvel's What If...? got off to a bit of a slow start for my liking, but the animated series has picked up the pace in recent weeks. As of this past week, six of the nine episodes slated for the first season of the animated series have been released.

So far we've seen some pretty amazing "what if" scenarios. From things like Doctor Strange losing his heart instead of his hands to the the most recent episode of Killmonger rescuing Tony Stark, Marvel's What If...? has posited some very intriguing alternate storylines for our beloved heroes.

Prior to the release of the latest episode, "What If... Killmonger Rescued Tony Stark?," Disney and Marvel released a mid-season sneak peek. Although there are just three episodes left in the current season, there are clearly some big moments still to come. The mid-season trailer provides a fun recap of what we've already experienced include a sneak peek at what awaits.

Check out the mid-season trailer as well as a clip from the latest episode below.

New episodes of Marvel's What If...? debut every Wednesday only on Disney+. Prior to the series' premiere, Disney had already confirmed that the Marvel animated series had been greenlit for a second season.
