THE CROODS: FAMILY TREE: Creators Mark Banker & Todd Grimes On Season 2 Of The Spin-Off - Exclusive Interview

With the second season of The Croods: Family Tree coming in less than a week we sat down with the creators behind the scenes to learn about the advancements that have happened from season one and more!

When The Croods was released a decade ago, fans didn't expect the Dream Works Animation film to expand into a fully fleshed-out universe across multiple projects. Even two video games joined the franchise with Nintendo's The Croods: Prehistoric Party and the subsequent title The Croods on mobile.

However, when it comes to the adventures on screen, it seems as though the fun has no end in sight for The Croods fans. Despite a proper sequel with the recent The Croods: A New Age, multiple spin-off animated titles are also available.

Following the series Dawn of the Croods, the spotlight is currently on The Croods: Family Tree. The series sees multiple situations between the titular Croods and The Bettermans, and the show was received so well that a second season is just around the corner.

To learn more about the details behind The Croods: Family Tree Season 2 and how it has evolved from season one, we took some time to speak exclusively with creators Mark Banker and Todd Grimes. We learned about how they juggle the characters and the arcs between them and how they were able to continue production despite the pandemic.

There's plenty to learn in this chat with Barker and Grimes, so you'll want to check it out yourself below. And be sure to share in the comments whether you'll be checking out The Croods: Family Tree Season 2.

Creators are a fun time to speak with even if they do spend a lot of their time behind the camera. Such is the case with this interview in which I'm joined by Mark Banker and Todd Grimes.

The two gentlemen have a history in animation with significant titles. Banker has been known for his work on Space Ghost: Coast to Coast, Adventure Time, Captain Underpants, and Go, Dog Do. Grimes, meanwhile also worked on a number of Captain Underpants projects in addition to Star Wars: Detours.

The three of us focused on the ever-expanding universe that the Croods inhabit with two movies and two spin-off series already under their belt. We discussed their work on Season 2, which is due out on Hulu and Peacock on April 5th. We went into detail about the arcs and relationships between the characters in the second season of The Croods: Family Tree and tiptoe around a few non-disclosure agreements for fun. It was a killer time and you'll surely dig it so check it out!

The Croods: Family Tree Season 2 hits Hulu and Peacock on April 5th.
