Developed by Emmy Award winners Kevin and Dan Hageman (Trollhunters, Ninjago), Star Trek: Prodigy "follows a group of lawless teens who discover a derelict Starfleet ship and use it to search for adventure, meaning and salvation." We first heard word of the new Nickelodeon series earlier this year, but the official name and logo were revealed during the Star Trek Universe panel at Comic-Con@Home, a digital event meant to capture the spirit of Comic-Con since the physical event has been canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic.

It will be developed by CBS' Eye Animation Productions, Secret Hideout, and Roddenberry Entertainment with Alex Kurtzman, Heather Kadin, Katie Krentz, Rod Roddenberry and Trevor Roth serving alongside Kevin and Dan Hageman as executive producers.
