Marvel's What If...? is an upcoming animated series that will release exclusively on Disney+ in 2020. The twenty-three episodes will each retell the events of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. For example, one episode will tell the tale of what would have happened if Agent Peggy Carter had been imbued with Super Soldier Serum instead of Steve Rogers (A.K.A. Captain America).
There's another episode that will see Captain America turned into a zombie, and another which will see T'Challa (A.K.A. Black Panther) become the leader of the Guardians of the Galaxy. Recently, some concept art provided us with our first look at a lot of these concepts —

Jeff Goldblum recently participated in a
Buzzfeed video in which he revealed that he will reprise the role of the Grandmaster in
Marvel's What If...?. The actor first played the role in 2017's
Thor Ragnarok. Additionally, Goldblum revealed that both Robert Downey Jr. and Taika Waititi will feature in his episode. Here's what Goldblum told the site:
I played the part again a couple of days ago. I went to the Disney studios and I recorded the Grandmaster's voice for an episode of a show that's gonna be on Disney+ that's called What If...?. It's an animated version of all the characters we know and love from Marvel and this episode included the Grandmaster and Iron Man, so Robert Downey will do a voice for that, and Korg. Taika Waititi had already recorded his voice for that, so yeah, for a couple hours I enjoyed doing that.
Downey Jr. is, of course, known for helming the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Tony Stark A.K.A Iron Man, whilst Waititi both directed
Thor Ragnarok and also starred as Korg. You can check out the video interview below. The specific moment in question takes place at about the 11:16 mark.
UDPATE: According to The Wrap, Goldblum was mistaken and Robert Downey Jr. will not be returning to the role in Marvel's What If...? —
