We were recently treated to a behind-the-scenes look into the Rick and Morty writer's room to commemorate production on the popular animated comedy series' fourth season.

The official Rick and Morty Facebook page posted a video of the show's writers hard at work on the third season's finale - along with a brief message to the show's fans:

We're back in the writer's room! Here's a BTS look from Season 3.

Though the video doesn't reveal any juicy information about Rick and Morty's highly anticipated next season, it does give a humorous insight into the show's writing process.

Check out the behind-the-scenes video below:

With the animated series being renewed for another seventy episodes, which could mean a minimum of seven more seasons, perhaps the "ISIS werewolves" will make an appearance in the future.

Though the fourth season doesn't currently have a specific release date, Rick and Morty are expected to make their return at some point in 2019.

What do you think of the fun behind-the-scenes video? Would you have liked the inane spitball to have made it into season three's finale?
