Pikachu may be extremely popular and the mascot of the franchise, but it wasn't the first Pokémon to be created and introduced. The legendary dogs Suicune, Entei, and Raikou are not the fastest creatures in the Pokédex despite what fans of Pokémon Gold and Pokémon Silver might think. And believe it or not, in comparison to some of his Poké-pals, Snorlax isn't so heavy after all.

Guinness Book of World Records titles held by pocket monsters is definitely an eye-opener, with Greninja taking the top spot as most popular Pokémon and poor Simisear bringing up the absolute rear. Five creatures share the title for lightest Pokémon, with two of those being ghosts and the Speed Stat difference between the fastest and slowest Pokémon is 175.
