POKÉMON GO: Niantic Shakes Up Five Star Raid Battles By Adding Thundurus To The Game

Pokémon Go features many Unova creatures already but until now Thundurus has yet to make its debut. That will be remedied in March however as the Lengendary creature joins Raid Battles. Check it out!

The Legendary Tornadus is currently dominating Five Star Raid Battles though its reign is almost over. In a few short days the creature will turn over the reins to its Unovan brother -- Thundurus. Making up the same trio of Legendary creatures, it comes as no surprise that Thundurus would follow Tornadus' debut into the title.

Thundurus officially joins Pokémon Go on March 2nd at 1 pm PST. At that point Trainers will have the opportunity to challenge this creature and register it to their dex for the very first time but it may not be an easy task as the raids it will be present in will all be Five Star Raid Battles, the toughest out there.

If you find yourself amongst the players brave enough to challenge Thundurus, be sure to prepare wisely. This means you will want to stack your battle team with the toughest and roughest Rock and Ice-Type monsters you have available so you will be able to do your best against the massively powerful Flying and Electric-Type Legendary.

Do you see yourself battling Thundurus? Let us know your thoughts below!
