The wait for Marvel's What If...?'s Season 1 finale episode is nearly over with just about 12 hours to go until the release of Episode 9. While details of what's to come in the final adventure of the season, a new promo has been released revealing the title.
What If... The Watcher Broke His Oath? is the title for the final adventure of the season, and those who witnessed the interaction between Strange Supreme and Uatu at the end of last week's installment will recognize the title's reference to their conversation. "I want to hear you say it. Are you ready to break your oath?" coaxed the dark and manipulative Strange Supreme as The Watcher approached him for help.
You're able to view the exclusive promo video here, and in regards to the finale, director Bryan Andrews tells EW that "It goes places you don't expect. I know people are starting to get a sensation that things are building to something — and they are. And craziness ensues."
Pictured above, the official promo poster for this week's finale features Gamora, and more than that, it's a version of the character that we have yet to meet. That would have been different had her episode not been pushed back to Season 2, so we'll see how the episode handles her introduction.
