The newest episode of Marvel's What If...? has proven to be one of the most fun to date. Of course, this was to be expected with the main character being dubbed "Party Thor" in an episode that sees a scenario in which Thor Was An Only Child.
Of course, without Loki, God of Mischief, it's Thor himself that gets up to shenanigans behind the back of the Allfather. Once the time comes for the Odinsleep, both Frigga and Thor decide to "relax" in their own respective ways, and this causes Thor to start a party on Midgard - AKA Earth.
We won't dive into too many spoilers here, but we do want to break down a full list of the Marvel Cinematic Universe actors that returned to reprise their roles for what is possibly the most fun episode yet. While the party features countless character cameos, here are the ones with the actors and actresses that return in What If... Thor Was An Only Child?
Over a dozen original actors return with Thor's Chris Hemsworth, Jane Foster's Natalie Portman, Loki's Tom Hiddleston, Darcy's Kat Dennings, Phil Coulson's Clark Gregg, Nick Fury's Samuel L. Jackson, Grandmaster's Jeff Goldblum, Maria Hill's Cobie Smulders, Brock Rumlow/Crossbones' Frank Grillo, Korg's Taika Waititi, Nebula's Karen Gillan, Sif's Jaime Alexander, Seth Green's Howard the Duck, Rachel House's Topaz, and, hilariously, Surtur's Clancy Brown.
Meanwhile, Alexandra Daniels voiced Captain Marvel instead of Brie Larson, Frigga was Josette Eales, Hogun was voiced by David Chen, Max Mittelman voiced Fandral, and the inimitable Fred Tatasciore played both Volstagg and Drax.
There are plenty of other characters that appear in non-speaking cameo roles, and we'll get a full rundown of those soon. Meanwhile, be sure to share your thoughts on this cast list in the comments!
