Disney Junior released some new details for the upcoming second season of Spidey and His Amazing Friends, and it was confirmed that John Stamos will be voicing Tony Stark, aka Iron Man. Entering its second season, Spidey and His Amazing Friends is an animated superhero series aimed at a younger audience. The show follows the adventures of younger versions of Peter Parker, Miles Morales, and Gwen Stacy as they team up to defeat classic villains from Spider-Man canon.

Occasionally, they will call upon their Avengers buddies to aid them in saving the world, and this year we'll see them team up with newcomers Iron man, Ant-Man, Wasp and Reptile. Hulk, Ms. Marvel and black Panther will also be returning.

Joining Stamos in Season 2 of Spidey and His Amazing Friends are Sean Giambrone as Ant-Man, Maya Tuttle as Wasp, Hoku Ramirez as Reptil, Jaiden Klein as Black Cat, Tom Wilson as Sandman, and Stephanie Lemelin as Electro.

Season 2 of Spidey and His Amazing Friends will introduce a new "Glow Webs Glow" storyline that will see the Spidey Team band together to use a new glowing web formula to turn the lights of the city back on after Electro tries to drain it of its power. The upcoming season will also feature four new original songs and a "Glow Webs Glow" anthem song from by series' songwriter and composer Patrick Stump (Fall Out Boy).

Season 2 of Marvel's Spidey and His Amazing Friends is set to premiere on August 2022.
