The Angry Birds Movie 2 debuted in theatres back in August 2019. Obviously; it's a sequel to the 2016 movie of the same name and is based on the popular mobile game series developed by Rovio Entertainment. Thurop Van Orman (
The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack) and John Rice (
King of the Hill) direct.
The voice cast includes Jason Sudeikis, Josh Gad, Leslie Jones, Bill Hader, Rachel Bloom, Awkwafina, Sterling K. Brown, Danny McBride, Peter Dinklage, Zack Woods, Pete Davidson, Lil Rel Howery, and Beck Bennett. Each of the aforementioned actors and comedians play either one of the titular birds or a piggy.
The Angry Birds Movie 2 is now officially available to watch on the Netflix streaming service — provided that you're subscribed.
The Angry Birds Movie is also available on the platform. The sequel runs for 97 minutes in total and is decently rated around the web on sites such as Rotten Tomatoes — wherein it holds a 73% score on that Tomatometer.
