We're just a few weeks away from Netflix releasing all 8 episodes of its live-action Avatar: The Last Airbender series and to promote the show, the streamer has released four new posters for its most popular characters.
The streamer also recently confirmed the creative team behind all 8 episodes as Michael Goi (Scream Queens, American Horror Story) will direct the first two episodes of the show.
The first episode features a script written by the creators behind the original Nickelodeon animated series, Michael Dante DiMartino & Bryan Konietzko and Albert Kim- who replaced DiMartino and Konietzko after they departed the project due to creative differences.
Comic book write Joshua Hale Fialkov wrote the script for the show's second episode.
Jabbar Rassan directs episodes three and four, while Roseanne Liang helms episodes five and six, and Jet Wilkinson sits in the director's chair for episodes seven and eight.
Fans are thinking that the show is structured so that it is comprised of four, two-part episodes rather than eight individual episodes since a director is in charge of two consecutive episodes.
Netflix's live-action Avatar: The Last Airbender stars Gordon Cormier as Avatar Aang, Kiawentiio as Katara and Ian Ousley as Sokka.
The show also stars Dallas Liu (PEN15) as Prince Zuko, Paul Sun-Hyung Lee (Kim's Convenience, The Mandalorian) as Uncle Iroh, Daniel Dae Kim (Hawaii Five-0, Lost) as Fire Lord Ozai, Ken Leung (Inhumans, The Blacklist) as Commander Zhao, and Elizabeth Yu (Somewhere in Queens)as Princess Azula.

The four nations once lived in harmony, with the Avatar, master of all four elements, keeping peace between them.
