Ella Purnell (Army of the Dead, Yellowjackets) is a rising star on the big and small screen, so expect to see a lot more of her in the future, especially with the release of Fallout on Prime Video.
Before starring as Lucy MacLean in Fallout, the English actress voiced Jinx in Netflix's Arcane, an animated series based on League of Legends video games.
Recently, Purnell touched on Arcane season, which will be released in November, while promoting Fallout. According to Purnell, it appears that something really awful is about to happen next season.
"Oh man, I'm trying to remember it [season 1] because it was over two years ago," Purnell said when speaking to Tech Radar at a UK press junket.
"I actually just went back into the studio to complete some ADR [automated dialog replacement] for the season 2 finale – and I cried. So, I think other people will cry, too. It's devastating, and nobody will feel good after watching it."
Set for release in November, Arcane season 2 will coincide with the 15th anniversary of League of Legends.
Earlier today, Netflix confirmed that Arcane season 2 will be showcased at this year's Annecy International Animation Film Festival.
During the streamer's Wednesday, June 12 panel, Making Of Sessions, showrunner Christian Linke (Riot), scriptwriter Amanda Overton (Riot), Sr. concept artist Arnaud Baudry (Riot), director Bart Maunoury (Fortiche), and producer Christine Ponzevera (Fortiche) will take audience members behind the scenes of the show's creative process.
Along with Purnell's Jinx, the series stars Hailee Steinfeld, and Katie Leung, are also expected to reprise their roles as Vi, and Caitlyn Kiramman, respectively.
