Human Resources, an animated spinoff of the hit adult comedy series Big Mouth, is set to premiere on Netflix on March 18. The streaming giant released a new teaser for the upcoming series, which is set to focus on the various monsters and creatures that help guide humans through life.
Although Big Mouth is a coming-of-age series primarily focused on teenage middle schoolers dealing with the every day struggles of life through puberty, a big part of the series -- and probably the funniest -- are the different creatures that shape their mood and feelings. The most prominent creatures are the Hormone Monsters who influence the teens' sexual desires, but Big Mouth has introduced multiple creatures over the seasons, such as the Shame Wizard, Depression Kitty, and various lovebugs.
The Human Resources teaser gives us a glimpse at some of these fan favorite creatures while also introducing a few others. The series will seemingly shift the focus away from the kids and on to the monsters' wild lives, something we only get a glimpse into during Big Mouth.
Big Mouth has taken us to the land of monsters at times throughout the series, giving us a glimpse of the wild antics, but Human Resources will presumably give us an edgier look behind the scenes. Human Resources will debut on Netflix on March 18.
Human Resources is created by the same team responsible for Big Mouth: Nick Kroll, Andrew Goldberg, Mark Levin, Jennifer Flackett and Kelly Galuska. The series is part of the massive deal that they signed with Netflix through their newly formed company, Brutus Pink.
