Global entertainment company, Pinkfong, is having a pretty good time lately as not only does their well-established Baby Shark continue to thrive, but it seems whatever they touch turns into a smash hit. Case and point, Pinkfong Little Dino School, a new series housed by Netflix.
The series, according to Animation Magazine, has been a huge hit, earmarking itself as #1 on Netflix's Top 10 Kids TV Shows list in nine seperate markets, including key markets like the United States, Singapore, United Kingdom, and Australia. We're sure the show is also popular elsewhere where it's just not taking the top spot. Elsewhere, it's even found itself in the Top 10 Kids TV Shows in general across 12 different markets.
Meanwhile, spin-off special, Pinkfong & Hogi Mini Movie: The Tricky Three Cars, also makes waves as it breaks into Netflix’s Top 10 Kids TV Shows in 10 different countries and territories. The 40-minute special saw great success, ranking within the top 5 across places like South Korea, Singapore, the UK, and the US. Little Dino School and The Tricky Three Cars will join their existing lineup on Netflix.
“We are thrilled to bring our beloved dinosaur friends to life in 3D animation with Pinkfong Little Dino School, Through the daily adventures of Rex and Rex’s friends at Dino School, we aim to provide children with an engaging, musical approach to learning new things while fostering their natural curiosity about dinosaurs. We remain committed to creating fun and educational content and entertainment experiences that enrich children’s lives.”
Pinkfong Little Dino School follows Rex as he goes on daily adventures that are mostly accompanied by learning and musical numbers in this dialog-driven kids show. Even though it's only premiered earlier this year, Pinkfong has managed to draw a large audience, with their dedicated YouTube 380K subscribers and over 160 million lifetime views.
Meanwhile their notable 40-minute special is a spin-off to Pinkfong Wonderstar, which kicked off back in 2019 but really garnered traction in 2020, at least enough traction to warrant a second and third season, that is. Due to age, Wonderstar also manages to garner quite a rep, with over 11 million subscribers and 6.3 billion lifetime views.
Truly, it seems like whatever Pinkfong makes, it can turn it around into something big and in no small part, successful. Pinkfong Little Dino School, for those interested, is available in both Korean and English.
