Earlier this week, The LEGO Group and Universal Pictures announced a new partnership which seems to have decided the fate of The LEGO Movie and The LEGO Batman Movie franchises — that being that they're almost certainly over. However, that doesn't mean Will Arnett is totally done with the role of the latter, titular character.
In a new social media post from the official LEGO Twitter account, Arnett reprises the role of the Caped Crusader for an important message to do with COVID-19 A.K.A. the Coronavirus. This virus has plagued most of the world for a couple of months now and many countries have enacted a lockdown meaning that residents shouldn't leave their homes unless entirely necessary.
What's more, people must maintain a safe distance from each other of about two metres as to not catch nor spread the virus. In the public service announcement, Arnett as Batman recites all this and Ralph Fiennes explains the nature of the virus as Alfred.
It's surely a sensible message for children to see in order to get the dire point across to them — and it ends on a hopeful message: that we will beat this thing. Check it out below (via @LEGO_Group):
