WARRIOR Star Andrew Koji Set To Play Storm Shadow In The Live-Action SNAKE EYES Film
With Henry Golding already attached as the lead, Snake Eyes continues to search for its supporting cast, and according to a new report, the G.I. Joe spinoff film may have finally found its Storm Shadow...
The previous live-action G.I. Joe films may have received a ton of criticism from fans and critics alike, but that hasn't stopped Paramount from greenlighting a solo Snake Eyes film. And with a director and script ready, the movie has begun searching for cast members.
In fact, just recently, the feature recruited Henry Golding (Crazy Rich Asians) to play the titular role, and now a new report from The Wrap reveals Andrew Koji (Warrior) has been cast as the hero's rival, Storm Shadow.
Prior to Koji's casting, the only actor to play Storm Shadow in a live-action movie was Byung-hun Lee, who portrayed the character in both G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra and G.I. Joe: Retaliation.
As of today, Snake Eyes, which will be directed by Robert Schwentke (Red), is scheduled to hit theaters on October 16, 2020.
