Toy Story as a franchise has been around for a quarter of a decade, beginning in 1995 with the first instalment.
Toy Story 2 released in 1999 and the third instalment came out in 2010. Now, nine years later, the beloved animated film franchise is back.
Toy Story 4 will be arriving in theatres in one week's time. Ahead of this theatrical release, reviews for the film have been published online and, according to Rotten Tomatoes, so far they're all positive (via
Comicbook.com).
The review aggregator site collects official reviews and creates a percentage based on how many of them are positive versus how many are negative. Thus far, 39 reviews for
Toy Story 4 have been posted and every single one of them rates the film as "Fresh," the average rating being 8.59 out of 10.
It's not the largest sample size by any means, but debuting with 100% on Rotten Tomaotes is still an impressive feat. We'll keep you updated if there are any drastic changes, though we're willing to bet their won't be - given Pixar's track-record.
