Three months have passed since
Toy Story 4 made its debut in theatres. The Disney-Pixar film made over $1 billion in that time and its home release is now on the horizon. As such, Disney has begun releasing clips from the animated movie's special features online.
About a week ago, a deleted scene was released which saw Buzz Lightyear meet knock-off versions of himself —
you can check that out here. Now, Disney has released a clip which reveals an alternate ending for the fourth
Toy Story movie. The director, Josh Cooley, prefaces the deleted scene by mentioning that it almost made it into the final cut.
At the end of
Toy Story 4, Woody decides to live his life with Bo Peep rather than stick with a specific child. However, all that is flipped in this deleted scene. Bo Peep is drawn to, Harmony, a young girl and believes that she's meant to be her toy. Woody realises that he has to say goodbye to Bo again and so the two romantically bid each other farewell.
