Yesterday we got our first look at
Onward in
the form of two stills, earlier today we got an official poster, and now the film's very first trailer has been released. The animated adventure will take place in a fantasy land and follow two elvish brothers as they embark on an errand - or rather a quest - together to discover some real magic.
The pair of elves are named Ian and Barley and will be played by Tom Holland and Chris Pratt respectively. Octavia Spencer and Julia Louis-Dreyfus are also a part of the cast - the latter actress plays brothers' mother.
Onward is directed and written by, the director of
Monsters University, Dan Scanlon.
During the first game of the 2019 NBA Finals, the first trailer for the upcoming animated film was aired. It introduces us to the afformentioned characters as well as the mythical world in which unicorns roam free and eat from people's garbage.
