The writer-director of both The Incredibles films, Brad Bird, recently answered a query on whether he's considered shifting the Parr's to the small-screen - he had quite a witty comeback.

When The Incredibles was released back in 2004 it was met with high praise and adoration, the same can be said about its recently released sequel. Both were immensely successful both critically and financially - one can only imagine that a third film is a possibility - it only comes natural that the question of a television series would be raised.

Bird has previously worked on such animated TV classics as The Simpsons, hence why a fan took to social media to ask whether a The Incredibles TV show had been considered by Bird - here's what the director had to say:

It did of course take quite a long time for a sequel to be produced, one could only imagine the amount of time it would take to finely craft long-form entertainment of the sort.

Though it wasn't a flat-out no, so perhaps Bird is simply using his trademarked humour to play coy. Maybe in a couple generations the Parr's will make their way to the small screen.

What do you think about Bird's comments? Would you like to see a TV series based on The Incredibles?
