On October 18th, just a fortnight from now, Batman and Superman: Battle of the Super Sons will release digitally and on Ultra 4K HD and Blu-ray.
It's the newest DC Comics animated film, and this time, while it still includes the likes of the Justice League, it's about the respective sons of Batman and Superman, Damian Wayne A.K.A. Robin and Jonathan Kent A.K.A. Superboy.
It seems the animated film will serve as an origin story for these two young characters as the first official clip that has been released by Warner Bros. Home Entertainment (via ComicBookMovie.com) sees Jonathan finding out that his dad is Superman and that he could potentially also have superpowers.
The young supe will have to get used to his newfound abilities quickly while working in unison with the other titular hero, as it's up to them to save the day when both of their fathers and other Justice League heroes, The Flash and Martian Manhunter, are cast under the spell of Starro the Conquerer.
Jack Dylan Grazer and Jack Griffo serve as the voices of the two titular heroes, Superboy and Robin. The voice cast also includes Laura Bailey as Lois Lane, Troy Baker as Batman, Travis Willingham as Superman, Nolan North as Jor-El, and Darin De Paul as Lex Luthor, among others.
