Paramount recently released an awesome new poster for their upcoming Transformers spinoff Bumblebee.

The poster shows Hailee Steinfeld's character, Charlie Watson, stood beside her friendly Autobot, Bumblebee - both silohuetted by a starry night sky. The wonderous tagline reads “Every adventure has a beginning.”

Check it out below:

Here's Parmount's official synopsis for the prequel:

On the run in the year 1987, Bumblebee finds refuge in a junkyard in a small Californian beach town. Charlie (Hailee Steinfeld), on the cusp of turning 18 and trying to find her place in the world, discovers Bumblebee, battle-scarred and broken. When Charlie revives him, she quickly learns this is no ordinary, yellow VW bug.

Travis Knight, who is most well-known for directing Kubo and the Two Strings and Coraline. On top of Steinfeld, the film features John Cena, Pamela Adlon, Stephen Schneider, Jorge Lendeborg Jr., Jason Drucker, Kenneth Choi, Ricardo Hoyos, Abby Quinn and Grace Dzienny.

What do you think of the new poster? Are you looking forward to Bumblebee?

Bumblebee arrives in theatres on December 21st.
