MGM's animated
The Addams Family movie is out now in theatres. The cast features Charlize Theron as Morticia, Oscar Isaac as Gomez, Chloë Grace Moretz as Wednesday, Finn Wolfhard as Pugsley, Elsie Fisher as Parker Needler, Allison Janney as Margaux Needler, Nick Kroll as Uncle Fester, and Bette Midler as Grandmama. Conrad Vernon and Greg Tiernan are the film's two directors.
Recently,
CinemaBlend got the chance to speak to the pair of actresses playing the Needlers — Elsie Fisher and Allison Janney. The site got them to thinking what a live-action version of the film would look like. Of course, there have been live-action
Addams Family movies in the past but this hypothetical situation would involve the aforementioned cast of the animated movie.
Both Fisher and Janney were more than enthusiastic about the concept.
"A great cast too to be live-action. Just to put it out there," said Janney.
"We were talking about how, when you do these, you don't get to be in the same room with each other. You do it by yourself or with the director ... so we just met two seconds ago."
"I think the chemistry is already very apparent," Fisher responds — also believing that the cast would have worked great together in the same room and in live-action.
"I did some press with Chloe [Grace Moretz] yesterday and, like, it would have great chemistry." Would you like to see a live-action
Addams Family movie with this cast?
