Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse recently got its second trailer and its arguably its best yet. Putting a spotlight on the characters, giving us an inkling of what to expect from the plot, and also a bunch of fun easter eggs.
Not only are there the typical references to the comic-books but there's a few which take influence from similar cinematic endeavours. Like near the beginning of the trailer, Peter Parker attempts to stop a train and has a car thrown at him, these are obvious references to the Sam Raimi Spider-Man movies, which came out in the early 2000s, in which the same events happen.
But one that isn't as obvious is an Easter Egg that references, the more recent Marvel Studios movie, Black Panther. The end of the trailer sees Spider-Verse's lead Miles Morales stood atop a gargoyle-like sculture. Well, under closer inspection, it's actually a panther. This mirrors the poster for the smash-hit which came out in February. As you can see in the tweet below.
