Reports have been doing the rounds online that the new trailer for Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse might be with us on Monday, but Sony Pictures has now confirmed that it'll actually arrive on Tuesday, April 4.
The animated sequel's official Twitter account has shared a teaser to build hype for our next sneak peek, and it features some action-packed new glimpses of Miles Morales, Spider-Gwen, Spider-Woman, and Spider-Man 2099, who tells the young hero that he "can't run forever."
We've heard that this new trailer will feature a long-awaited reunion between a trio of certain characters (click here to find out more).
In Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, after reuniting with Gwen Stacy, Brooklyn’s full-time, friendly neighborhood Spider-Manis catapulted across the Multiverse, where he encounters a team of Spider-People charged with protecting its very existence. However, when the heroes clash on how to handle a new threat, Miles finds himself pitted against the other Spiders and must redefine what it means to be a hero so he can save the people he loves most.
The confirmed voice cast includes Shameik Moore, Hailee Steinfeld, Oscar Isaac, Jake Johnson, Issa Rae, Jason Schwartzman, Daniel Kaluuya, Shea Whigham, Jorma Taccone, Luna Lauren Vélez, and Brian Tyree Henry.
Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse swings into theaters on June 2, 2023
