Detective Pikachu could end up being one of the biggest movies of 2019 as the Pokemon franchise is more popular today than ever before thanks to Pokemon Go

Throw in the fact that a live-action Pokemon movie is long overdue and Ryan Reynolds' involvement as the titular Detective and it's fair to say that this is going to be good (providing it escapes the dreaded video game movie curse).

In this TV spot, a number of familiar creatures appear, including Bulbasaur,
Mr. Mime, and Lickitung. The visual effects are mind-blowing and Warner Bros. has clearly spent a lot of money.
