Scoob! is an upcoming animated movie starring Zac Efron as Fred, Amanda Seyfried as Daphne, Gina Rodgrigues as Velma, and Will Forte as Shaggy. Frank Welker is best-known for voicing the titular pup and he will be reprising the role in Scoob!.

The cast will reportedly also feature Tracy Morgan, Mark Wahlberg, Jason Isaacs, Ken Jeong, and Kiersey Clemons as a variety of other iconic Hanna-Barbera characters — such as Dick Dastardly and Captain Caveman.

Scoob! is set to arrive in theatres on May 15th, 2020. Warner Bros. Pictures has released the very first official trailer for Scoob! which dives right into the origin story of Mystery Incorporated, showing us how the gang first came together. As well, they've released an official poster and synopsis — which you can check out below — as well as stills.

The first full-length animated Scooby-Doo adventure for the big screen is the never-before told stories of Scooby-Doo’s origins and the greatest mystery in the career of Mystery Inc. “SCOOB!” reveals how lifelong friends Scooby and Shaggy first met and how they joined with young detectives Fred, Velma and Daphne to form the famous Mystery Inc. Now, with hundreds of cases solved and adventures shared, Scooby and the gang face their biggest, most challenging mystery ever: a plot to unleash the ghost dog Cerberus upon the world. As they race to stop this global “dogpocalypse,” the gang discovers that Scooby has a secret legacy and an epic destiny greater than anyone imagined.
