Quentin Tarantino is one of the most well-known, renowned, and acclaimed film directors in the industry. Coincidentally, as
Frozen 2 has just arrived in theatres; Tarantino recently revealed a hot take to do with Disney's animated princess films.
The film director spoke about retirement and his upcoming child during an interview with
Deadline. Mike Fleming joked that Tarantino hearing the songs from
Frozen for the millionth time after becoming a father will rekindle his want to make films. However, the director retorted that he's more fond of
Tangled than
Frozen anyway.
"I'm a Tangled guy so I'm going to really try to steer her away from Frozen onto Tangled alright, but it's the same group of people, so they should be okay with it," Tarantino said.
Tangled is, of course, Disney's first 3D animated princess film. Released back in 2010, Tangled told the tale of Rapunzel and her lengthy, golden locks. Unlike Frozen, it's pretty underrated. So, Tarantino's opinion is certainly one that can be backed up. Recently, Tangled was subject to an Honest Trailer — find out more on that here.
