It has been five years since the first Wreck-It Ralph film, but at long last, in November the lovable Vanellope and heroic Ralph will be returning to the big screen - but they're not the only ones.

As demonstrated by the trailers for Ralph Breaks The Internet, the film will be amping up the Easter Eggs and references tenfold. Thus far we've been given a glimpse at Stormtroopers from Star Wars, Iron Man from The Avengers, a plethora of Disney princesses, and even more on top of that. However, given his appearance in the first Wreck-It Ralph film, there's one fan-favourite character who's been noticable absent from the marketing.

Sonic, the radical and rapid hedgehog, featured sparingly in Wreck-It Ralph. A fan of the speedster recently put the question, will Sonic feature in the sequel, to the films' director Rich Moore. The returning director quickly got back to them with an amusing gif of lead actor John C. Reilly whooping "Yep!"

Check out the tweets below:

Are you looking forward to Ralph Breaks The Internet? Would you like to see Sonic feature in the sequel less sparingly?

Ralph Breaks The Internet smashes into theatres on November 21st.
