Next month, The Pokémon Company International and Fathom Events
will bring the animated feature film Pokemon the Movie: The Power of Us to theaters. Ahead of the special event, we've got a brand new trailer for the movie, which follows Ash and Pikachu on an epic journey to save a seaside town from destruction.
As the trailer teases, the dynamic duo travel to "the city that lives in harmony with the wind" for its special Wind Festival - a celebration of the Legendary Pokémon Lugia, who brought the wind that saved the town from destruction many years ago. But things quickly go south as a series of unfortunate events threatens not just the city, but everyone who lives there. It's up to Ash and Pikachu to save the day alongside a colorful cast of characters that must put aside their differences to rescue the town. The new Pokemon adventure promises thrilling battles and heartwarming lessons when it debuts in theaters next month.
Every year, the townspeople gather to celebrate the Legendary Pokémon Lugia, who brings the wind that saved the town from destruction many years ago. The festival is a time for celebration, with a Pokémon Catching Race and a ceremonial flame burning brightly to summon Lugia. But when a series of incidents threatens not just the festival, but all the people and Pokémon who call the town home, it's going to take more than just Ash and Pikachu to save the day. Will these people be able to put aside their differences and work together to rescue their town? Or will it all end in destruction?
Pokémon the Movie: The Power of Us will have a limited theatrical release at participating locations in the United States through Fathom Events on November 24, 26, and 28, as well as December 1. Tickets are now on sale and you can find a list of participating theaters near you over
