Pokémon the Movie: I Choose You!, The Pokémon Company and Fathom Events are again partnering to bring a new animated film,
Pokémon the Movie: The Power of Us, to select theaters later this year. Arriving alongside today's announcement was the first teaser trailer for the movie, which follows Ash and Pikachu on a journey to save a seaside town from destruction.

The Power of Us will feature thrilling battles, heartwarming lessons, and a diverse cast of new characters that must put aside each other's differences to save the town - including an appearance from the fan-favorite Legendary Pokémon, Lugia
Every year, the townspeople gather to celebrate the Legendary Pokémon Lugia, who brings the wind that saved the town from destruction many years ago. The festival is a time for celebration, with a Pokémon Catching Race and a ceremonial flame burning brightly to summon Lugia. But when a series of incidents threatens not just the festival, but all the people and Pokémon who call the town home, it's going to take more than just Ash and Pikachu to save the day. Will these people be able to put aside their differences and work together to rescue their town? Or will it all end in destruction?
Pokémon the Movie: The Power of Us will have a limited theatrical release at participating locations in the United States through Fathom Events on November 24, 26, and 28, as well as December 1. Specific details regarding showtimes, ticketing, and participating theaters will be shared soon.
