While Paramount's Sonic the Hedgehog film, has already cast big names like James Marsden and Jim Carrey in key roles, it had yet find an actor to voice the iconic hedgehog himself.
However, according to a new report from Variety, that search has come to an end, as Ben Schwartz (Duck Tales) has been cast in the CGI/live-action hybrid as the voice of the famous video game character, Sonic.
Ben Schwartz made a name for himself with his role as the annoying yet loveable Jean-Ralphio on NBC's Parks and Recreation. Since then, the actor has had a number of notable roles that include providing the voices for Leo on Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Rutabaga Rabitowitz on BoJack Horseman.
Sonic the Hedgehog is set to race into theaters on November 15, 2019 with Jeff Fowler at the helm and Tim Miller (Deadpool) attached as an executive producer.
