Mulan is an upcoming, live-action remake of an animated classic of the same name from 1998. While Ming-Na Wen played the iconic character back then; Liu Yifei plays Mulan in Disney's upcoming remake. The cast also includes Donnie Yen as Commander Tung, Jason Scott Lee as Böri Khan, Yoson An as Cheng Honghui, Gong Li as Xianniang and Jet Li as The Emperor.

The film follows a fearless young woman as she disguises herself as a man in order to take her ailing father's place as a part of the Imperial Army and take on nothern invaders of China. The promotional material for Mulan has been quite awesome thus far — such as this action-packed poster from last month — but this new poster might be the coolest yet.

This poster comes from Korea and features the titular heroine wielding a sword in such a way that she is literally split between her regular, female self and her male soldier-disguise. It echoes the iconic poster for the original in which Mulan's alternate identity can be seen in the reflection of her sword's blade.

Check it out below (via Asad Ayaz):

When the Emperor of China issues a decree that one man per family must serve in the Imperial Army to defend the country from Northern invaders, Hua Mulan, the eldest daughter of an honored warrior, steps in to take the place of her ailing father. Masquerading as a man, Hua Jun, she is tested every step of the way and must harness her inner-strength and embrace her true potential. It is an epic journey that will transform her into an honored warrior and earn her the respect of a grateful nation…and a proud father.

Mulan will arrive in theatres on March 27th, 2020.
