Mortal Kombat Legends: Scorpion's Revenge is a new animated movie based on the popular video game series of the same name. It has been available digitally, from a variety of digital storefronts such as Amazon, since April 14th. However, now it's available on Blu-ray, 4K Ultra HD, and DVD as well (via ComicBookMovie.com).
The animated movie features a plethora of iconic characters from the video game series including Johnny Cage, Sonya Blade, Liu Kang, Kano, Sub-Zero, Scorpion, and more. Respectively, those characters are voiced by Joel McHale, Jennifer Carpenter, Jordan Rodriguez, Robin Atkin Downes, Steve Blum, and Patrick Seitz.
Ethan Spaulding serves as director. He's best known for such animated movies and series as Avatar: The Last Airbender, Son of Batman, and Batman: Assault on Arkham. It's written by Jeremy Adams — who's best known for Teen Titans GO!. Jim Krieg and Rick Morales produce.
The latter producer features in the "Filmmaker Commentary" which is included in the special features as well as plenty of featurettes which dive into such subjects as adapting the source material, the sound design, and character design.
