On February 14th,
Sonic the Hedgehog arrives in theatres for the first time. The upcoming movie is based on the iconic video game franchise of the same name and stars Ben Schwartz as the voice of the titular character, Jim Carrey as the nefarious Dr. Robotnik, James Marsden Tom Wachowski, and Tika Sumpter as Maddie Wachowski. Jeff Fowler directs.
The popular musician named Tom Holkenborg, better known as Junkie XL, handled the video game movie's score. Recently, Holkenborg confirmed that the score will be available to listen to on February 14th. Basically, the movie's score will release alongside the movie itself — on Valentine's Day.
Holkenborg also shared the cover art for the score — though, it's basically just the movie's official poster. You can check that out below (via
Gamefragger). To be clear, this isn't anything to do with the movie's soundtrack. That's a seperate thing and will feature such songs as Wiz Khalifa's
"Speed Me Up" —
