On February 14th, Sonic the Hedgehog races into theatres in his very own live-action movie. Jeff Fowler directs the upcoming movie based on the long-running video game series of the same name and Ben Schwartz serves as the voice of the titular speedster. Dr. Robotnik is played by Jim Carrey, James Marsden and Tika Sumpter play Tom and Maddie Wachowski respectively.
With the film's release right around the corner, Paramount Pictures has finally begun releasing clips, TV spots, and the like. The first clip was released on the 24th and saw Tom and Sonic make amends —
you can check that out here. The second surfaced online just yesterday and saw the pair struggle to rid themselves of a sticky explosive —

This new one features both Tom and Sonic as well as Maddie and Dr. Robotnik. The former three characters are cornered on a rooftop by the latter and his ominous drones. How will they manage to escape from this scenario? Well, Sonic enacts a rather unorthadox plan that even has Dr. Robotnik saying
"I was not expecting that."
