Wreck-It Ralph was a bonafied Disney classic pretty much the second it hit theaters. The 2012 film saw John C. Reilly lend his voice to the titular Ralph, a Donkey-Kong-esque video game villain. Ralph travels through a multi-video-game reality in a quest to find new purpose. The film saw huge box office numbers and will soon be followed up by a sequel
Wreck-It Ralph 2. You may remember recently that we got news of
Gal Gadot doing some of the voice work for the animated sequel. Well, that's not the only exciting Ralph news coming to you this week. According to WDW News Today, the world's premiere Walt Disney parks news site,
Wreck-It Ralph isn't just headed back to the big screen. he may be headed to a Disney park near you.
WDWNT reports that rumors are circulating of a
Wreck-It Ralph virtual reality attraction in the works. The attraction would pop up in Disney's Tomorrowland, a fitting place for a video-game-inspired, VR experience. The attraction would also be replacing the ride "Stitch's Great Escape," a different attraction which was based on Disney's hit 2002 film
Lilo & Stitch. We can assume that the
Wreck-It Ralph ride would feature much of the same mechanics of "Stitch's Great Escape," blending moving cars and visual effects for a fun VR experience. As this is just a rumor, no official park premiere date has been set for a
Wreck-It Ralph ride, but you can be sure we'll tell you once it is.
