DreamWorks Animation has revealed the first official poster for How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World, the third installment in its Oscar-winning animated franchise.

The poster is absolutely stunning as it features vibrant colors and teases a lush, gorgeous new world. Toothless appears face to face with a female Night Furys porting a silverish-white color scheme with beautiful blue eyes and glittering sparkles. Hiccup is centered in the back with his sword drawn and ablaze.

DreamWorks Animation says of the next chapter of the franchise:

"Hiccup and Toothless will finally discover their true destinies: the village chief as ruler of Berk alongside Astrid, and the dragon as leader of his own kind. As both ascend, the darkest threat they’ve yet faced—as well as the appearance of a female Night Fury—will test the bonds of their relationship like never before."

Meanwhile, the synopsis from last month reads:

“As Hiccup fulfills his dream of creating a peaceful dragon utopia, Toothless’ discovery of an untamed, elusive mate draws the Night Fury away. When danger mounts at home and Hiccup’s reign as village chief is tested, both dragon and rider must make impossible decisions to save their kind.”

We'll get our first look at How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World next week when DreamWorks drops the first trailer for the movie. The film itself is set to hit theaters on March 1, 2019.
