After 13 years,
The Incredibles is back with their long-awaited sequel, hitting theaters tomorrow (or tonight, for many super-fans.) The folks over at CableTV.com are so excited that they analyzed Google Trends data over the last nineteen Pixar films and have in turn created a national report revealing each state's favorite Pixar film, and we're delighted to share that data with all of you!
In addition to each state's favorite film, which can be seen by viewing the image below, much other information has been gleaned about several states and their relation to the pixar films, as well as the overall popularity comparisons between the beloved animations.
Finding Dory was easily the most popular movie, which not only won the hearts of seventeen states, but also was shown to be more than eight times as popular as it's predecessor,
Finding Nemo. That's not to say that there were any unpopular movies, so don't let your heart sink if you're worried you're in the minority, because every single Pixar title was on the frequently googled list.
As far as state-specific information goes, we can say that
Coco was widely popular in California, as expected due to the Dia De Los Muertes plotline, while New Mexico roots for
Cars, a film with a fictional location set near their very own Route 66. Meanwhile, Wyoming, who has the third worst soil quality in the United States shows massive love for
Wall-E.
