Emma Bunton, former member of British girl-group The Spice Girls, will feature in Warner Bros. upcoming animated film Smallfoot as Mama Bear.
Though, based on the below video, it seems that its more of a cameo-esque appearance; Bunton fondly recalled playing the role: “It was amazing voicing the role of Mama Bear. She’s feisty and strong and I had so much fun playing her. I like to take part in anything that makes my children happy and this is going to be the best thing mummy’s done!”
Below you can watch a video of Bunton introducing her role - as well as some new footage from the film:
Considering that Smallfoot is a musical comedy, it's surprising that they didn't make use of Bunton's singing talents. The film does feature a number of songs performed by its stars and some other artists: Zendaya, CYN, Common, Niall Horan, James Corden, and its star Channing Tatum.
Smallfoot is the story of a Yeti named Migo who stirs up his community when he discovers something that he didn't know existed -- a human. It essentially turns the mysterious myths of Bigfoot and the Abominable Snowman back on us!
