Outright Games and Universal Games have announced
DreamWorks Dragons Dawn of New Riders, a new video game based on the computer-animated television show
DreamWorks Dragons. The game will launch in February 2019, coinciding with the theatrical release of
How To Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World.
Set in the
DreamWorks Dragons universe,
DreamWorks Dragons Dawn of New Riders introduces Scribbler and his unique hybrid dragon, Patch. Together, the heroic duo will engage in an epic battle to save dragons and defeat the villainous Eir, who is controlling dragons to carry out her evil plans. Along the way, players will help Scribbler recover lost memories while forging a friendship with Patch and unlocking powerful abilities. Players will have to swap between the two characters to overcome obstacles and solve puzzles across both new and familiar locations, including Havenholme, Valka's Mountain and Blood Briar Island. The game will be available for Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

How To Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World will mark the end of the popular film trilogy that started back in 2010. It's slated to hit theaters February 22, 2019.
