Disney's long-awaited streaming service has finally arrived. The United States, Canada, and the Netherlands can now get their hands on Disney+. However, those in the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy, and Spain will have to wait until March 31st, 2020 —
find out more on that here.
Unfortunately, though many are having the time of their lives with the streaming service, a lot of users are reporting login issues, streaming issues, and a whole lot of other issues to do with Disney+ at the moment. The streaming service has had quite the rocky start.
On account of these widespread issues, Disney has taken to social media (
@disneyplus) to release an official statement to do with the launch hiccups. It seems that Disney underestimated just how popular their streaming service would be upon release. They assure users that they're hard at work trying to quell all of the issues that are currently plaguing the platform.
"The demand for #DisneyPlus has exceeded our highest expectations. We are so pleased you’re excited to watch all your favorites and are working quickly to resolve any current issues. We appreciate your patience," reads their tweet — which you can check out below.
