Warner Bros.' 1993 animated film Batman: Mask of the Phantasm is returning to theaters next month in celebration of its 25th anniversary.

The highly stylized animated movie is a cinematic continuation of Batman: The Animated Series. It follows the story of Batman as he deals with his reconciliation with a former lover, Andrea Beaumont, while also trying to clear his name after being framed by a mysterious vigilante for the murders of mob bosses. What's more, this dangerous new foe is somehow linked to Bruce Wayne's former girlfriend. The film stars Kevin Conroy as the voice of Batman, Mark Hamill as The Joker, Dana Delaney as Andrea Beaumont, and Stacy Keach as Phantasm.

Batman: Mask of the Phantasm was originally planned for a direct-to-video release, but WB ultimately decided for a theatrical release. The film, which was the first original theatrical film produced by Warner Bros. Animation, opened on December 25, 1993, and received positive reviews from critics; however, an unsuccessful marketing campaign led to a poor box office performance.

Thanks to a collaborative effort with Fathom Events, however, it'll get a second chance. Batman: Mask of the Phantasm will return to select theaters for only one night on Monday, November 12, playing at 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. You can find participating theaters over on the Fathom Events website.
