Traveling to the opulent cities of the Middle East is already one of the hottest vacation destinations in the United States but the creation of a brand new Angry Birds amusement park means it soon won't just be Instagram models making the trek.

In Qatar, a brand new, multi-million dollar Angry Birds theme park is now open, which features numerous rides and attractions, including the world first multi-level, indoor/outdoor go-kart track.  The track is modeled after the Mario Kart inspired Angry Birds Go mobile racing game.

In the press release, Rovio highlights the amusement park as just one piece of its future endeavors, which includes a sequel to its surprise-hit 2016 animated film.

"Angry Birds World is a world’s first in every aspect, from the theming to the choice of rides and entertainment," stated Riad Makdessi, CEO at Trimoo- the company which oversaw the theme park's planning and construction.  He added, "At Trimoo, we strive to deliver more than just entertainment. The park’s innovative concept supports our greater mission of creating lasting memories for every guest. Through creativity, innovation, game and design thinking, we believe we can revolutionize the way people experience the world – and Angry Birds World is the first step towards realizing our goal. This is a significant milestone for us, as we bring to Qatar and the Middle East one of the largest indoor and outdoor entertainment hubs for the whole family."
