Actress Madeleine Madden Has Been Cast In Paramount's Live-Action DORA THE EXPLORER Movie

Paramount's live-action Dora the Explorer adaptation has cast yet another actress.

Madeleine Madden has reportedly signed onto the upcoming film. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Madden will be playing  Dora's friend whom she meets whilst attending high school. It was previously revealed that Dora herself will be played by Isabela Moner (known for Transformers: The Last Knight).

Madden is known for her roles in Around the BlockPine Gap, and Mystery Road. Her most recent notable role was alongside Natalie Dormer and Samara Weaving in Amazon's miniseries Picnic at Hanging Rock.

The live-action remake of the iconic Nickelodeon cartoon will follow a teenage Dora traveling the world with Boots, her faithful companion, as well as her cousin Diego (who will be played by Micke Moreno). Dora's grandmother will be played by Adriana Barraza and Eugenio Derbez is also on-board as a fellow explorer, named Alejandro Gutierrez, who is slated to be the film's antagonist.
