The Marvel Cinematic Multiverse is set to expand in a major way with the official canon events of the upcoming animated series What If...? Premiering the first three episodes in just a week on Disney+, the marketing campaign for the ambitious new Marvel Studios project has soared through the roof.
Today we have a new television spot to help satiate impatient fans over the next seven days, though it is only thirty seconds long. Still, the exciting promo includes some fresh dialogue as well as visuals that haven't been seen or heard in previous trailers, albeit cut together with similar images and footage we've seen and the following monologue.
"What if the stories you remember changed in a way you'd never forget? What if the heroes you knew became something larger than life? On August 11th, expect the unexpected, and ask yourself the question - what if...?"
As you can see above, the promo was tweeted earlier this morning, and given the overwhelmingly positive response so far, it is hard to imagine there won't be others in the meantime. While waiting for the premiere, which includes the first three episodes, fans will have to settle for the footage Marvel and Disney want us to see.
