One would find it rather difficult to find a 90's kid who isn't familiar with Disney and Pixar's
Toy Story franchise. The nostalgic series that features beloved characters such as Sheriff Woody and Buzz Lightyear drilled its way into our hearts steadily over the past two and a half decades.
Toy Story debuted all the way back in 1995 and its sequel
Toy Story 2 came only four years after in 1999. Despite being a major hit
Toy Story 3 didn't see its release until eleven years later in 2010 and it was also a full eight years before the latest,
Toy Story 4, landed in cinemas.
Even though the movies in the franchise have been released so sporadically they have been steady hits, with all of them landing Rotten Tomatoes scores in the high 90's and
Toy Story 2 even landed the coveted 100 Fresh. The series has proven itself to have a strong fanbase through the years, allowing multiple generations to enjoy it together.
Toy Story 4 debuted last year to outstanding reception, receiving a 97% on Rotten Tomatoes and an 84 on Metacritic with an excellent word of mouth that allowed the delightful animated film legs to carry it through the box office during its run and ultimately earning it 1.073 Billion.
The new movie features additional cast members Jordan Peele
(Twilight Zone), Keegan Michael Key
(Lion King), Keanu Reeves
(John Wick), Tony Hale
(Arrested Development), and more alongside veterans Tom Hanks
(Forrest Gump), Tim Allen
(Last Man Standing) and the others to make for another unforgettable Pixar experience.

On the road of life there are old friends, new friends, and stories that change you.
Woody has always been confident about his place in the world and that his priority is taking care of his kid, whether that’s Andy or Bonnie. But when Bonnie adds a reluctant new toy called “Forky” to her room, a road trip adventure alongside old and new friends will show Woody how big the world can be for a toy.
Directed by Josh Cooley (Riley’s First Date?) and produced by Jonas Rivera (Inside Out, Up) and Mark Nielsen (associate producer of Inside Out).
Toy Story 4 will land on the Disney+ Streaming Service tomorrow, Wednesday, February 5th, 2020.
