Disney's fledgling streaming service, Disney+, has officially received an all-new Disney+ original movie by filmmaker Tom McCarthy
(Spotlight). The award-winning director worked on the script alongside Stephen Pastis who is responsible for having created the best-selling book of the same name which
Timmy Failure: Mistakes Were Made is based off of.
The film sees a cast which headed by Winslow Fegley
(Fast Layne) and Ophelia Lovibond
(Guardians of the Galaxy) and rounded out by Kyle Bornheimer
(Brooklyn Nine Nine), Wallace Shawn
(Gossip Girl), and Craig Robinson
(The Office) and will also screen in front of the "kids" section of the 2020 Sundance Film Festival.
The film sees youngster Timmy and his very large polar bear companion operating Total Failure Inc, a detective agency in Portland. Run by an elementary schooler and an actual bear, it goes about as well as you'd expect.

An elementary school oddball, the clueless but confident Timmy (Winslow Fegley) must navigate the world of adults around him, including his overburdened mother (Ophelia Lovibond), her well-meaning boyfriend (Kyle Bornheimer), his teacher/nemesis (Wallace Shawn) and a school-mandated guidance counselor (Craig Robinson), all in his quest to become the best detective in the world.
