Most Disney+ subscribers have realized by now that the streaming service changes some of the films and the television shows in its streaming line-up every month.
When this was discovered last month, we reported it that movies like
The Sandlot, Dr. Dolittle, Pirates of the Carribbean: On Stranger Tides, Home Alone, and
Home Alone 2. Out of all of these titles, the only one that is making its return (at least in January) is
The Sandlot.
It doesn't come as a huge surprise that fans would be upset about the removal of
The Sandlot, as pretty much any nineties kid is encumbered by nostalgia when reading the title. What's worth noting, though, is that all of those other titles which were removed are big name Intellectual Properties.
Home Alone, Pirates of the Caribbean, and
Dr. Dolittle are all household names, but it looks like streamers were more willing to go without the likes of McCauly Caulkin, Johnny Depp, and Eddie Murphy than James Earl Jones and the boys from
The Sandlot.
What do you guys think about
The Sandlot returning so quickly? Do you think more people will give it a watch this time around now that its back on the service? Let us know your thoughts in the comments and if you haven't seen the film go ahead and check out the trailer and synopsis for it below!
